Bruno is astute in thinking some of this is an act. Kronid has a young, pretty face, boyish and wide-eyed - but you don't make it for centuries upon centuries without learning to make the way you look work in your favor.
So he pushes relief into his smile, a grin now, showing off those long, jagged teeth.
"I don't have to drain a person completely - just mostly. It can be dangerous for me to leave the job half done, because usually if my...my prey can't get help or a transfusion fast enough, letting them live is a cruel death anyway."
His tongue briefly darts out to wet his lips a little before he continues.
"But most people do not have a sister who can heal broken bones and...wounds. I could feed from you and you could come back from it in no time."
